Hole In The Wall Gang Camp Tree House
Over 300' of ADA compliant ramps connect 10 different platforms and give users a canopy walk that is supported entirely by 27 trees and culminates at the main tree house over 20' off the ground.
Built for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford CT, we are honored that it helps support their mission to provide children with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions a camping experience of the highest quality, while extending year-round support to their families and health care providers.
The tree house is an iconic part of Camp, used for nature programming, overnight excursions, and as a quiet, meditative space for campers. The ramps that wind through the trees allow for an exploration of the forest otherwise not available to many of the campers. We acted as lead builders on the project for Yestermorrow Design/Build School, general contractors of the project. Ashford CT 2004.
