One huge and amazing live-edged slab of English Elm sits on top of a blackened ash trestle style base in this modern and elegant table. Table is 10' long and over 3' wide. Fine craftsmanship including dovetail keys and traditional joinery ensure that its life as the centerpiece of the Threepenny Taproom Restaurant in Montpelier VT is just the first stop on its journey that will last generations. The quartersawn Ash base has been charred and polished to bring out subtle tones of color and give the grain a noticeable texture. Check out our Gallery of the Three Penny Taproom Design and Build.
